In my family, we always say bigger is better. You see, I come from a family of big women. My mother was a big woman, my grandmother was a big woman, and I am a big woman and proud of it. One thing that my mother taught me was that being big does not mean that you can’t be sexy. She said you have to dress well from head to toe and make your own style, your own look. I found that I not only take my time shopping and choosing my tops and pants, I also take my time in finding plus size lingerie that is going to make me feel good and look good too.

There are just as many options in plus size lingerie as there are in every other type of lingerie. Just because you are plus size does not mean that you have to cover it all up. In fact, I rather like plus size lingerie that doesn’t leave much to the imagination. You will find everything from bras, corsets and bustier’, to lingerie that covers you up a little more. When my mother was younger, there were not nearly as many options, but you are no longer limited by your size. Companies realize the need to offer plus size lingerie to meet the needs of all patrons.

If you are searching for plus size lingerie, one of the best places to search is online. Because there are so many options available, we recommend that when you search for lingerie that you narrow your choices by being specific on what you are looking for. If you simply put in that you are looking for plus size lingerie, you will likely be overwhelmed by the number of websites. Instead, narrow your search by color, material and/or style. Not only will this help you to find exactly what you are looking for, it will help to weed out unwanted items.

If you like to try on your lingerie before purchasing it, simply go to your nearest plus size store. Most of these stores not only carry clothing, but lingerie as well. This was not always the case, but I now can find plus size lingerie just about anywhere I go. Even some of the department stores offer a decent selection of lingerie for my size.

It is wonderful to be big and beautiful. I have always felt good about myself both inside and out. I don’t let my size crimp my sense of style. I know where to shop, and I know what I like. Now I not only look great when I’m at work or out at night with my friends, I also make sure that I’m looking good for my husband with all the plus size lingerie that I buy. You might say it is an addiction. I say it is an addiction to looking good.

In Great Britain a very popular department store charges an additional two pounds for bras from cup size D (UK size) and bigger. A lady who wear cup size E was fed up with this and declared war against the department store.

She made an account on Facebook which in no time had more than seventeen thousand members and bought some shares in the company so her voice would be heard during the shareholders meeting.

The argument she presented at the shareholders meeting was that women who suffered from obesity are not charged extra for their bras. Then why should other big busted women have to pay extra for their underwear and clothes?

The department store initially did not agree with her argument but could not measure up to the over seventeen thousand activists she gathered on Facebook.

Through front page advertisements the department store gave 25% discount on all bras and promised to reduce the prizes of the cup size D and bigger bras after the ad finished running. They also publicly apologized for increasing the prices.

Many stores and also huge department stores still sell all cup size bras D and up with an additional charge. Most online lingerie stores do the same as well.
